The story of my life

I've finally given in and decided that the world would be better if you knew more about my life. Egocentric? Yes. Worth Reading? No. Largely Pointless? Probably.

Some Kind of Update

Well it's been a while, but then nothing of note has really happened. That is to say that nothing of note that I care to share has actually happened. That is to say that nothing that I thought anyone would give a toss about.

Anywho, what has happened in the last month runs something like this:

I still don't have a permanent position at work, my contact has now been extended to the 14th of March, despite the fact that I was supposed to be in a full time position by the middle of February.

Probably first up would be Valentines Day, the first one on which I've had something to do other than wallow in self-pity, which was good. I sent a lovely card and I got a lovely card, all is good.

Next up, April's cat (Dude) ran away - thankfully he returned just over a week later - it was something of a difficult few days for her & by association, for me - something I'd prefer not to repeat.

Then there was cricket - cricket with work. I injured myself horribly in many places including my knee, my ankle, my elbow and my back. We also lost, it was great. Also with work was Go-Karting last Wednesday; there was less injury involved and I performed much better (8th out of 29). I would have done better if some twunt hadn't overtaken me under a yellow flag and dumped me out in the semis.

This month, I have been mostly playing City of Heroes, on which I have created The Spad:

I also experimented briefly with Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic II, but after about 30 minutes I couldn't take any more - there's just something about the graphical style, it's like it's been made with the DirectX equivalent of crayons. Plus the UI is annoying. I might give it another try, the first one was great and I'd like to believe this one is too.

I'll try and make my updates less sporadic, but very little of interest happens to me at the moment and I wouldn't want to bore you with stories from work.
